She has had pre­vi­ous ex­pe­ri­ence with Hamp­shire County Coun­cil and Bristol City Coun­cil, where she worked for the last 25 years. ●● COM­MUTERS are warned of po­ten­tial de­lays be­cause of road works.

Wood­ford Road, by Hill Green Farm, will see de­lays un­til Oc­to­ber 2 while Elec­tric­ity North West Lim­ited un­der­take work con­nected to A6 by­pass. Dick­ens Lane will have two-way sig­nals un­til Oc­to­ber 2 as United Util­i­ties re­place an old lead sup­ply. Lon­don Road North, Lon­don Road South and Ch­ester Road will have some traf­fic man­age­ment un­til Oc­to­ber 5 while Cheshire East Coun­cil un­der­take street light­ing col­umn and lan­tern re­place­ment work. ●● THERE will be a com­mu­nity lit­ter pick on Oc­to­ber 24 from 10am, start­ing from the Civic Hall.
