A fright night of fun . . .

Macclesfield Express - - HALLOWEEN HORRORS -

LITTLE horrors donned their scariest outfits as part of a Halloween appeal by the Express.

We asked you to send in pictures of little ones in spooky costumes and many proud parents sent in snaps.

They join our Halloween gallery of events around Macclesfield. This includes young shoppers who visited a vampire ‘transformation station’ at the Grosvenor Centre and pulled their most blood-thirsty poses for a competition as part of Halloween celebrations.

The photo with the most likes on the centre’s Facebook page before 11am on November 9 will win prizes from the shops.

Jack Mercer, five, who was with his mum Nicky, couldn’t wait to have his face painted.

Nicky said: “Jack looked just like a mini vampire and was making all sorts of monster expressions.”

Alanna Heaven, three, also took part.

Her mum Sammie Lovenbury said: “Alanna was really excited to have her face painted. Now she wants to dress up baby brother Harry as a pumpkin so he can join in the celebrations.”

Other Halloween happenings around Macclesfield included bashes at Mash Guru, the Railway View and The White Lion.
