Craft event is show of local talent
CRAFTS people and food producers will take part in a fair to raise money for community projects.
More than half of the people selling items at the inaugural event will be from Sutton and Langley and money raised will go towards activities by the Three Villages Community Action Group which formed out of the parish plan.
Goods on the stalls will include cards, jewellery, photos, pottery, woodwork, textiles, jam, bread and cakes.
Maggie Earl from the action group, who has been organising the fair with Pauline Stuart, said: “It’s all local stuff, with more than half from Sutton and Langley so it really is a chance to celebrate what the community can do.
“The money will go towards more community planting or to other projects.”
The craft and produce fair is on Saturday, November 21, 2pm, at the scout hut on Church Lane, Sutton. Entrance costs £1, children free.
