It’s Self Care Week, a national campaign which aims to help people take care of themselves, and lets them know what’s available to help them look after their health.
This year’s theme is ‘self-care for life’, which includes helping people better understand how to look after any minor ailments or long-term conditions , as well as how to prevent ill health by choosing healthy options for good physical and mental wellbeing.
One of the really exciting initiatives we’re undertaking to encourage self-care in Eastern Cheshire is the CATCH app. CATCH stands for Common Approach to Children’s Health, which symbolises the joined-up approach to care that we have adopted in Eastern Cheshire. We’ve teamed up with our partners NHS South Cheshire CCG and Public Health Cheshire East to commission the
