Sponsors needed to support cause

Macclesfield Express - - NEWS -

AN animal charity is looking for sponsors for classes at its upcoming horse show.

Angels Rescue is run by Angela Leach and her daughter Emma Ryder from their home on Hulme Square in Macclesfield.

They take in dogs, cats and other animals which are abandoned or rescued and care for horses from a site in Bollington.

They have held an equestrian show for the last few years to raise money.

This year they are looking for people to sponsor show classes.

Emma said: “We would ask people and businesses to pay £50 to sponsor a class, which pays for things like the trophies and rosettes.

“The show is very important to help us raise money to pay for things like hay and vets bills so we can keep looking after the animals.

“We rehome abused, neglected and abandoned horses, cats and dogs.”

There are 10 classes, a tombola and other stalls at the show at Adlington Equestrian Centre on Saturday, December 5, from 9am.

For information or to sponsor a class email angelsrescue.uk@gmail.com or call 07737 126990 or 01625 421467.

The closing date for entries into classes is November 28.
