Fourth win on spin is an outside shot
MACCLESFIELD have been in excellent recent form, with the Silkmen winning their past three National League matches to move into the top half of the table. However, there’s a tough assignment on Saturday when they travel to The Racecourse and the visitors are the 7/2 outsiders (bet365) to claim a fourth victory on the spin.
Wrexham are two points better off in sixth place and the Reds are 8/11 (Stan James) to win their fourth consecutive game. With two in-form teams clashing, there’s a chance they will cancel each other out and BetVictor have 14/5 that this one ends all square which would be a good point for Macclesfield. Kristian Dennis is certainly a danger and the striker has six goals in his past four matches, with Ladbrokes offering 11/2 he breaks the deadlock, while Macclesfield are 9/1 (William Hill) to win after the scoreline is level at half-time.
An incredible forty goals have been scored in eleven matches at The Racecourse this term and we should therefore expect the net to bulge a few times this weekend. Winner.com have 8/11 that both teams score, while Over 3.5 Goals is attractively priced at 13/8 with Sky Bet should you think we’ll see four or more goals scored between these two attacking teams.
