Muck-in for a new year challenge...
IF your New Year resolution is to get healthy then the 2016 Challenge Series run by East Cheshire Hospice could be ideal.
It sees people sign up for runs, hikes, cycling events or even a ‘Tough Mudder’ obstacle race.
Jessica Ruth, events manager at the hospice, said: “A new year can mean a fresh start for many of us and a chance to get fit and healthy.
The hospice’s Challenge Series could be just the motivation you need to get out there and set yourself a goal.
“If anyone would like to find out more about the challenges, please contact us on 01625 433477 or email email@example.com.”
Everyone who signs up for an event on behalf of the hospice receives a free fundraising pack to support them with their goals.
More than £60,000 was raised in 2015 from people undertaking different challenges.
The hospice always has a team in the Great Manchester Run, Europe’s biggest 10k run, this year on Sunday, May 22, making January the perfect time to start training. Entrants are supported on the big day at a special hospice stand with free goodies and even massages on offer.
