THERE are a few changes to our broad­cast­ing sched­ule to start off the New Year.

Firstly we say farewell and thanks to Jes­sica Fo­ley who has pre­sented var­i­ous shows over the past few years and is now mov­ing on to new things, in­clud­ing pre­sent­ing the travel re­ports on var­i­ous com­mer­cial ra­dio sta­tions.

Ricky Freelove left us just be­fore the fes­tive pe­riod and has gone to work on lo­cal com­mu­nity tele­vi­sion. It just goes to show how good a ground­ing com­mu­nity ra­dio gives to peo­ple who want to make a ca­reer in the me­dia.

Jess and Ricky fol­low peo­ple such as Keisha Spence and Fiona Sadler who went on to com­mer­cial ra­dio af­ter hav­ing train­ing with us.

New pre­sen­ters are be­ing trained up and you will be able to lis­ten to them in a few weeks’ time. Our restau­rant of the week and take­away treat com­pe­ti­tions have now restarted for the New Year.
