Powerlifter’s tattoo for gym
A GYM goer has paid the ultimate tribute to the family-run gym which helped get her into shape by having a tattoo of its logo.
Charlotte Rowley has been a member of Fitness4All, which is run by Chris Rowlands and his family, for six years after joining in November 2009.
In her time training at the gym, which is based at Adelphi Mill, Grimshaw Avenue, Bollington, she has since lost six stone and is now competing in powerlifting competitions in the Great British Powerlifting Federation.
She decided to show her thanks to the team at the gym which helped get her into shape by getting its logo tattooed on her foot.
Charlotte said: “I didn’t know how to thank Fitness4All for everything. They have supported me in striving for my achievements.
“The gym is a huge part of my life. I don’t know where I’d be without it.
“It’s helped me go from an unfit big girl to a lifting lean machine.
“Getting a tattoo seemed fitting to say thank you to the team for everything.”
Chris Rowlands, manager, said the tattoo is an accolade his team at the gym.
He said: “When we opened nearly seven years ago I never ever dreamt that one day our logo would be permanently tattooed on someone.
“It’s really quite an honour to think that what we’ve created means so much to someone that they’d get a tattoo. Hardly any gyms can say that.”
