Ball raises £1,000s for hospital
AN estate agents has raised more £5,000 for Alder Hey Children’s Charity with a glamorous fundraising ball.
Holmes Naden Estate Agents, which has an office in Prestbury, raised money for the charity which has treated members of the HolmesNaden family.
The black tie ball took place at the Hill Top Country House in Prestbury and welcomed 150 guests from across Cheshire and Merseyside.
Edward Naden, owner of the estate agents, which also has a branch in Bollington, said: “We’re so grateful to all of the individuals and businesses who supported this important charity, through their attendance and generosity on the night and through the donation of prizes for our fundraising raffle. We all had a fantastic time.”
Alder Hey Children’s Charity is the fundraising arm of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, the largest national children’s hospital in the UK treating over 270,000 children and a further 60,000 in its Accident and Emergency department.
The hospital just relocated to new £36m purpose built premises in Springfield Park, Liverpool.
The money raised by Holmes Naden and their guests will be used to purchase new books and play equipment.
