Ball raises £1,000s for hos­pi­tal

AN es­tate agents has raised more £5,000 for Alder Hey Chil­dren’s Char­ity with a glam­orous fundrais­ing ball.

Holmes Naden Es­tate Agents, which has an of­fice in Prest­bury, raised money for the char­ity which has treated mem­bers of the HolmesNaden fam­ily.

The black tie ball took place at the Hill Top Coun­try House in Prest­bury and wel­comed 150 guests from across Cheshire and Mersey­side.

Ed­ward Naden, owner of the es­tate agents, which also has a branch in Bolling­ton, said: “We’re so grate­ful to all of the in­di­vid­u­als and busi­nesses who sup­ported this im­por­tant char­ity, through their at­ten­dance and gen­eros­ity on the night and through the do­na­tion of prizes for our fundrais­ing raf­fle. We all had a fan­tas­tic time.”

Alder Hey Chil­dren’s Char­ity is the fundrais­ing arm of Alder Hey Chil­dren’s Hos­pi­tal, the largest na­tional chil­dren’s hos­pi­tal in the UK treat­ing over 270,000 chil­dren and a fur­ther 60,000 in its Accident and Emer­gency depart­ment.

The hos­pi­tal just re­lo­cated to new £36m pur­pose built premises in Spring­field Park, Liver­pool.

The money raised by Holmes Naden and their guests will be used to pur­chase new books and play equip­ment.
