Good enough to eat
●● Save herbs from frost IF your herbs are still outside in pots, you will need to give them some protection in the winter months, even if our winter has been unseasonably warm.
If you don’t have a greenhouse, bring them as close to the house as possible, under the cover of a porch. Wrap the sides of the pot with several layers of bubble wrap polythene or hessian. Make sure you leave all parts of the leaves uncovered and ensure that the base of the pot has good drainage.
It’s best to stand the pot on feet to avoid moisture retention.
