Group greets new business members
A BUSINESS group is celebrating the new year with new members from a range of business sectors.
BNI Silk, which meets every Thursday morning at The Tytherington Club, has welcomed Alison Brown from O’Neill Patient Solicitors in Hazel Grove; Kaz Kaczmarczyk of Colourful Solutions, a Tytherington-based personal development and coaching company; Geoff Gittens from Macclesfield of SwitchedOn Brokers; Kevin Tungate from soundproofing company Tom Smith Soundproofing; and telesales expert David Taylor.
Part of the international BNI network, the group now has 14 members who work together every week to support and actively seek business opportunities for one another.
Last year the group generated almost £250,000-worth of business between them – an amount ranking them among the top performing groups in the country.
Andy Beaden, director of the group, said: “We all work really hard to share business contacts and help each other to grow our businesses.
“At each meeting, members and visitors have the opportunity to share information about their own business and, importantly, they are also able to talk about new business opportunities they are looking to develop.
“I would urge any business owners who are looking to expand their business to come to a meeting.”
The group is happy to welcome visitors on any Thursday and is hosting a special Visitor Day on Thursday, February 11.
