Architecture exhibition launches
AN exhibition will showcase work by 20 postgraduate architecture students who have been working with the town’s neighbourhood plan team.
The students from Continuity in Architecture, a postgraduate programme at Manchester School of Architecture for more than 20 years, have been working with Bollington Arts Centre to present the Oddments and Epigrams exhibition.
The students have been working with the Neighbourhood Planning Committee in Bollington which is developing a plan to make sure the town doesn’t lose its character and heritage. The partnership aims to develop a masterplan for Bollington to identify areas where development should take place, propose designs for new buildings and recommend areas for public space.
The exhibition will feature some of this work.
It opens on Sunday, January 17 from 7pm at Bollington Arts Centre for three days from 10am to 5pm.
