A win-win bid to boost busi­ness in re­gion

THE coun­cil is pro­vid­ing free train­ing to boost busi­ness­peo­ple’s bids to win deals.

Cheshire East Coun­cil will hold a se­ries of work­shops on how to se­cure pub­lic sec­tor con­tracts.

The pro­cure­ment train­ing events are tar­geted at lo­cal busi­nesses, char­i­ties and so­cial en­ter­prises and aim to show small firms how to ‘get started’ in the bid process and how to pro­duce a ten­der for lo­cal and cen­tral govern­ment work. The first ses­sions will be ‘Let’s Get Started’ on Tues­day, Fe­bru­ary 23, and ‘The In­vi­ta­tion to Ten­der Process’ on Tues­day, March 1, both led by Me­lanie Bryan from WhyNotChange, an or­gan­i­sa­tion which helps busi­nesses ten­der for pub­lic sec­tor con­tracts.
