Luxury travel firm snaps up national gong
ATRAVEL company has won an award for its luxury breaks at the British Travel Awards.
Destinology, based in Alderley Road, Wilmslow, was crowned Best Luxury Holiday Company at a gala awards ceremony in London, attended by almost 1,000 people from the travel industry.
Joy Woodside, Destinology’s operations manager, attended the evening and accepted the award.
She said: “I know I speak for the whole team at Destinology when I say we are simply delighted to win Best Luxury Holiday Company at the British Travel Awards.
“It was a superb evening with fabulous entertainment and it was a great honour to attend and receive our award.”
British Travel Awards’ chief executive Lorraine Barnes Burton said: “More than a quarter of a million consumers voted this year to determine the winners of the British Travel Awards.
“It’s the largest awards programme in the UK and to win is a clear statement that companies are providing excellence in travel to the discerning consumer.
“The travelling public regards a winner’s logo as the benchmark for excellence and Destinology are to be congratulated on their achievement.”
