Stars party at Arighi Bianchi charity supper
SIR Alex Ferguson and golfer Jamie Donaldson were among guests at the launch of Arighi Bianchi’s challenge to raise £40,000 for East Cheshire Hospice.
The event, a ‘ Supper and Soprano’ evening, was held in the store’s candlelit cafe bar.
the event, which raised £3,000 towards the business’s Charity Challenge 2016, included Rugby League star Mark Flanagan.
Nick Bianchi, commercial director at Arighi Bianchi, said: “We had a fabulous evening stuffed full of Italian food, music and stories.
resi- dence, Rachael Russell, brought the store down with her beautiful soprano voice and it was lovely to share tales of our history too.
“It was great to share the evening with so many customers and friends, but of course the best bit was raising over £3,000 for East Cheshire Hospice.
“This event marks the beginning of our Charity Challenge for 2016 and we’re determined to raise the full £40,000 to sponsor a qualified hospice nurse for a whole year.”
The next Supper and Soprano event is planned for Wednesday, April 20. For more details visit arighibianchi.co.uk.
