MACC go to Torquay in the FA Tro­phy look­ing to bounce back from suc­ces­sive Na­tional League de­feats.

TORQUAY were formed 117 years ago in 1899 and play their home matches at the 6,500 ca­pac­ity Plain­moor Sta­dium.

KEVIN Ni­chol­son has been the play­er­man­ager of the team since last year, hav­ing orig­i­nally been at the club as a player from 2007 to 2014.

MAC­CLES­FIELD reached this stage of the com­pe­ti­tion af­ter a 2-0 vic­tory over Truro City in the pre­vi­ous round.

GOALS from Danny Whi­taker and Kris­tian Den­nis was enough for the Silk­men in their se­cond round re­play at the Moss Rose.

TORQUAY reached this stage af­ter a 1-0 vic­tory at home to fel­low Na­tional League side Wrex­ham last month.

THEY head into the match against Mac­cles­field on the back of a 2-1 de­feat to pro­mo­tion con­tenders Tran­mere Rovers last week.

GRIMSBY, Ha­vant & Wa­ter­looville, Gateshead, Fylde, Hal­i­fax, Ch­ester, Wok­ing and Ox­ford are some of the other teams re­main­ing the com­pe­ti­tion.

DOVER, Guis­ley, Sut­ton, Bog­nor Reigs, Nantwich and Stour­bridge com­plete the list of sides com­pet­ing in the tour­na­ment.
