KID­DER­MIN­STER were formed 130 years ago in 1886, and have played at the Ag­g­bor­ough Sta­dium ever since.

COLIN Gor­don is the cur­rently care­taker man­ager of the club af­ter Dave Hock­a­day was sacked as boss last month.

THEY are the only club from Worces­ter­shire ever to have played in the Foot­ball League, af­ter spend­ing five years in League Two from 2000 to 2005.

KIDDY have strug­gled so far this sea­son and were bot­tom of the Na­tional League ta­ble head­ing into their mid­week fix­ture.

MAC­CLES­FIELD were vic­to­ri­ous when the two teams met in the re­verse fix­ture ear­lier this sea­son, pick­ing up a 2-1 win in Oc­to­ber.

THAT match was shown live on BT Sport, with Tony Di­agne and Danny Rowe get­ting the goals for the hosts.

JOHN Askey’s also side ran out win­ners when the two teams last met at Ag­g­bor­ough, pick­ing up a 2-0 vic­tory back in Jan­uary 2015.

GOALS from Alex Grant and Waide Fairhust were enough to give the Silk­men all three points away from home.

KID­DER­MIN­STER have strug­gled for goals so far this sea­son, with Gur­jit Singh and Ben Whit­field joint on four goals each as the club’s top scor­ers.
