Son, 22, is accused of ‘air pistol threat’
AMAN has appeared in court accused of threatening his dad with an air pistol during an argument.
Police were called to house on Eaglais Way in Macclesfield at around 9.40am on Saturday, February 13.
A police helicopter made a search of the area and Kieran Bates was arrested at a pub on London Road in Butley Town later that morning.
Mr Bates, 22, of Eaglais Way, appeared at Macclesfield Magistrates court on Monday (February 15) charged with possession of a gas powered air pistol with intent to cause fear of violence to Patrick O’Connor and criminal damage to the front door of the house.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday, March 14 for a trial.
