Reward over historic sex allegation
CRIMESTOPPERS is offering a £2,000 reward for information relating to an alleged serious sexual offence.
The charity has issued the appeal after Neil Jackson, who has connections with Macclesfield, was believed to be spotted in Chester.
Derbyshire Police want to speak to Mr Jackson, 62, who they have been looking for since 2001, about an allegation made that year that a young girl was assaulted in Buxton.
It is believed a man matching Mr Jackson’s description was seen in Eastgate, Chester, on the afternoon of Sunday, November 15.
He looked similar to Mr Jackson’s passport photo, which is several years old, and wore a beanie or flat hat.
Mr Jackson has a number of tattoos on his left arm and back, including his own name.
He also has connec- tions to Spain, especially Alicante.

“We don’t take personal information, we don’t record calls and we can’t trace calls or information given online. No-one will ever know you contacted us.”
