MACC boss John Askey says the continued support from fans has led to the club being in its best ever state.

Season tickets for the 2016/17 campaign have just gone on sale, and Askey hopes the fans keep backing the club.

“Each season we have improved the state of the club and, from being on the brink of extinction, the club is now run as well as it has been in years,” he said. “That is due to the continued support, plus the hard work from volunteers and the generosity of people. The support is very important for us and will continue to be so in the future.

“The season tickets for next season have gone on sale and I hope that the sales will be good, as the club continues to get back on its feet.

“It really does help the team when we have the fans behind us. They can help us to make Moss Rose a fortress again. That is always key in the success of any team so please encourage the players.”

Season tickets are on sale with adult tickets priced at £320 if bought before March 21. More information can be found on the club website.
