MAC ACTIVITY CENTRE The place to play that keeps giving back to the local community...
THE MAC Multi Activity Centre opened on Goodall Street last year, providing leisure facilities for the people of the local area and beyond.
As a communityinterest company, the team behind the centre are committed to improving recreational facilities for the people of Macclesfield and the wider community.
The aim is to keep prices low, with any profits that are made re-invested to further improve the centre.
While the main activity is roller-skating, there is also a cafe and community room, and the team are looking to add more in the future.
The roller-skating rink is suitable for those of all abilities, though beginners will require adult assistance to ensure a safe, fun environment for all.
Marshalls are on hand at all times to ensure a great time is had by all skaters.
For safety reasons, only those wearing skates will be permitted to enter the rink.
In the cafe, you will find a wide range of hot and cold drinks and cold snacks available.
The tuck shop stocks a wide range of sweets and chocolate and free wifi access is available at all times.
The community room is a comfortable and welcoming space that van be tailored for a large range of uses.
Those that are interested in booking this space can get in touch with the team to do so.
The team work with Total People and Space 4 Autism, as well as local schools and a range of uniform groups and would like to thank all of these for their continued support.
In addition, MAC Activity Centre is currently working alongside Cheshire East Virtual School to put together a programme to use the centre. With Easter just around the corner, the team have planned a number of very special events over the period.
These will include colouring competitions, a great egg hunt, spot the bunny and much, much more.
These events will help to raise funds for East Cheshire Hospice and the local rotary club. New this year, mid-week party bookings are available at MAC Activity Centre, in addition to the hugely-popular weekend slots.
