A HIP-HOP duo have launched a campaign to release their album on CD.

Rapper Chris Leese 30, and singer Oli Frost, 28, have recorded Big Shots – but need some help getting the record pressed.

They also want to fund music videos to promote their art.

The duo from Macclesfield are hoping to raise £1,000 to fund the project.

If you donate £1 will get you an MP3 of one track from the album, £4 gets you an MP3 of the album, whereas £600 gets you a signed album, T-shirt and private show in your living room.

The 11-track album, produced by Phocus, will be released on iTunes on June 13.

Chris and Oli met at Marlborough Primary School and reconnected recently to start working on some tracks.

Chris said: “The album is a lot of fun, with intricate lyrics, catchy hooks, and banging beats.

“But there are some emotional tracks on it that reflect our lives – I just became a dad recently, and Oli lost his mum.

“If you like what you hear and believe in the project then please pledge.”
