Owners sought after power tools recovered
POLICE have released images of tools which were recovered from suspected thieves.
The items were found at an address in Stockport and the occupants arrested on suspicion of burglary. Now police in Macclesfield are appealing for anyone who may be the owners of the equipment to come forward.
The items include a large Karcher semiprofessional power washer, a Dewalt compound mitre saw (110v), Husqvarna 440 chainsaw, where the chain has been recently sharpened, a Stihl saw, a large Stihl 660 chainsaw with ‘ANT 622’ etched into the body and a Stihl strimmer.
Det Sgt Shane Owens said: “We have recovered an amount of property from an address in Stockport including chainsaws, and other powers tools. So far we have been unable to identify them on our systems. They are believed to be stolen property. The suspects have been arrested on suspicion of burglary. We are keen to trace the owners.”
If you are the owner or recognise the items, call police on 101 and ask for DS Shane Owens.
