Outstanding inspection report for church school
ALL Hallows Catholic College has received an outstanding report for an inspection carried out at church schools.
The result in the Denominational Inspection Report mirrors the college’s outstanding Ofsted report and confirms that it continues to be a provider of first class Christian education, following an inspection on March 21.
The report states: “Not only does the college provide for excellence in academic terms, but it is able to ensure that this excellence includes its provision for the education, welfare and spiritual wellbeing of students of all ages and needs.”
Christian values are embedded in the consciousness and daily practices of the college community and outcomes in Religious Education for students are said to be consistently high in all key stages.
The Very Rev Canon David Roberts, the Director of Education for the Diocese of Shrewsbury has congratulated the college on the good work that is celebrated in the report.
Tony Billings, principal, said: “Education is about sharing a way of living a good life and developing the whole person.
“I am thankful for our amazingly dedicated staff who make our values tangible every day.
“We also have partnership of understanding with our students and parents that makes this college a special place for Christian care and support alongside promoting academic excellence.
“I’m really pleased we have once again received this external recognition.”
