In reports on the Cheshire East Council planning portal, officers expressed concern of the potential noise impact on the flats from the restaurant/ bar on the ground floor and the hot food takeaway opposite, which are both open until midnight.
Despite these concerns Maryland Securities Ltd were given permission for the plans provided the flats were built with noise mitigation in mind. ●» PLANS gave been submitted to convert a shop into a house.

Sutton Castings specialised in the manufacture of aluminium components, patterns, jigs, castings and foundry work until the closure of the business in 2008. ●» PLANS have been submitted to build five new homes in the town centre.
The scheme at Charles Roe Ltd is for land at Derby Villas, at Chatham Street, which includes a car park and a single storey building currently used for storage.
All five homes would have two bedrooms.
Vehicle access to the site would be via the existing access from Church Street West. The development includes parking for five cars.
