CANALSIDE

Macclesfield Express - - MACCLESFIELD PEOPLE - BRIAN MOORES

WE will have some new voices on the airwaves of 102.8FM from next week.

Sophie Hickey and Hannah Whitehouse will be entertaining you on the daily brunch show between 11am and 12.45pm every weekday morning.

The girls will bring a new perspective to the programming and, as they are youngsters, will be talking about things that affect the younger element of our community.

If you are not able to listen to the shows in the week, tune in on Saturday morning when they are repeated.

If you would like to contact either of the girls, drop an e-mail, marked for their attention, to office@ thethread.org.uk.

We also welcome back to the throng Mark Eeles. Mark has been on a little sabbatical but is now back and firing on all cylinders.

Mark will be on air every Monday to Thursday between 6.30am and 8am and will be keeping you informed on all things that are happening locally. Mark’s shows are also repeated on a Saturday afternoon.

We have a few changes on the Sunday programming. Fay Armstrong will be presenting Fay’s fabulous 50s between 4pm and 5pm.

This means that Alan Nicklin’s Guilty Pleasures show will now run from 5pm till 5.15pm and our weekly broadcasts of the Bradshaws of Barnoldswick will now be on from 7.15pm to 7.30pm.

If you like a little laid-back humour, tune in to the Harebrush Farm FM show from 7.30 to 8.30pm. We think it’s hilarious.

Give us a call on 01625 576689 to let us know your thoughts on our programmes – we really appreciate your feedback.
