Fundraisers worked up a lather at the bubble rush
SUNSHINE and smiles helped make Bubble Rush 2016 an overwhelming success for more than 3,500 fundraisers.
Families turned out in force to complete the 5k circuit at Oulton Park in support of East Cheshire Hospice and St Luke’s Hospice.
People of all ages worked themselves into a lather tackling walls of foam.
Family and friends of Faye Anderson, from Macclesfield, joined in the good clean fun to help celebrate her 13th birthday on the day.
Mum Jennie took part in the event last year as did Sasha Keeble who lost her mum Susan in July 2015.
Blues skies and live entertainment added to the party atmosphere on a special course within the Oulton Park track which was in use for a motorbike race.
Jessica Ruth, events manager at East Cheshire Hospice, said: “Bubble Rush was even more popular than last year when it was staged for the first time.
“We’d like to thank our supporters for entering into the spirit of the occasion and all money raised goes directly to providing hospice care across Cheshire.
“It’s a great family day out and we’re looking forward to seeing even more people at Bubble Rush next year.”
