Cracker is scuppered

Macclesfield Express - - SEARCH - ADAM BANKS

WITH both teams unbeaten Kerridge’s game with Rostherne on Saturday was expected to be a cracker but unfortunately the horrendous weather put paid to that.

After hard work from the hosts, toiling away for an hour and a half to get the ground fit for play Kerridge, finally got the game under way when deciding to bat after winning the toss. They managed to get to 94/4 (Ste Regan 32 ) before the heavens opened again this time permanently putting an end to the days play. Seven points apiece does neither side any good but hopefully next Saturday brings better weather and a win away at Appleton for the Kerridge side. Thanks to match sponsor on the day Mr & Mrs G Astle.
