Little stars scoop tickets for show
CHILDREN turned into star catchers when the Barnaby Festival came to the Treacle Market.
La Lune is an interactive experience which runs throughout the Barnaby Festival, based around the story of an astronomer who brings the stars and the moon down to earth, but then can’t get them back in the sky again.
As part of the ongoing adventure, children at the Treacle Market were invited to help the astronomer’s assistant find some lost stars.
And after scouring the stalls it was four-year-old Dorrie and seven-year-old Jasper who found the missing stars, earning themselves a pair of tickets for The Astronomer’s Tale, a theatrical performance written for the festival.
Tickets are still available for the 45-minute family theatre shows, which take over the weekend on June 18 and 19.
