A PUB has been reopened after a refurbishment and bosses say they have created 12 jobs for local people.

Vintage Inns has revealed a new look for Bollington based pub, the Cock & Pheasant, following a refurbishment of the inside of the building.

The renovation has creating 12 new jobs.

The pub, on Bollington Road, reopened its doors following a 10 week closure, whilst the refurbishment work and recruitment drive were underway.

The Cock & Pheasant has been refurbished as part of owner Mitchells & Butler’s acquisition of 173 sites in 2014.

Dean Silgram, general manager, said the Cock & Pheasant is a true Macclesfield local.

He said: “It’s the perfect place to get together with friends and family in a relaxed atmosphere.

“The pub looks incredible after the refurbishment and has been given a new lease of life. We’re delighted to have created 12 jobs for local people.

“Guests have been very complimentary about the new look and menu and we are thrilled with the feedback.

“We’re proud to showcase a new seasonal menu, which offers a selection of revamped classics including a wagyu burger in a brioche bun, alongside creative fish dishes and salads.

“We’ve also introduced stone-baked pizza ovens to create tasty hand-rolled pizza that are prepared fresh every day.

“The team are excited to welcome more guests into the pub and we would encourage anyone who hasn’t been to The Cock & Pheasant to come and experience our great food and hospitality.”
