Sporty youngsters go bananas thanks to their new football kit
A JUNIOR football team is celebrating securing a deal with a new sponsor.
Lostock Rangers JFC in Poynton are sporting snazzy new kits thanks to Chilli Banana, a Thai restaurant in Macclesfield.
The businesses logo will feature on the shirts for the under-sevens and under-10s teams.
The deal is part of plans to rejuvenate the football club.
The club are looking to bolster their squads ahead of the next season.
Nathan Taylor, the under-10s manager, said: “We have been sponsored by the Chilli Banana Thai restaurant in Macclesfield and we are really happy about it.
“We are recruiting all ages of kids from seven to 18-year-olds, but with a big drive on the seven to 12 age brackets.
“There are literally tens of kids in Poynton who don’t have a club at these age groups as most other clubs are full and have huge waiting lists.
“We just want to let the community know we have places and are a fun community based club for all standards. We have qualified coaches for all ages.”
The club train every Saturday morning at Lostock School in Poynton from 9.30am to 11am.
If you are interested in joining one of the teams call Nathan on 07707 637410 or email email@example.com.
