Kerridge wash out

Macclesfield Express - - SEARCH - ADAM BANKS

ONCE again the great British summer intervened as Kerridge’s away game at Styal was abandoned after just under an hour’s play.

Having already started late and numerous overs already lost from the game, Styal, having won the toss, elected to bat.

Kerridge had an early breakthrough when Adam Banks bowled Fernando for three and then when Nick Windsor had Middleton trapped lbw with the score on 32/2 the heavens opened and forced the game to be written inside the 13th over.

With just seven points collected on the day, all eyes will be on next weekend’s weather as Kerridge hopefully entertain Ashley on the Saturday and Rylands in the 40/40 Cup on Sunday, both at home.

Match sponsor will be Dr & Mrs B Cox.
