Charity fair returns for summer fun
THE Rossendale Trust is hosting its annual summer Fete at Rossendale Hall on Sunday, August 7.
This year there will be more stalls and attractions than ever, including all the classics such as the tombola and raffle.
A beer tent will be run by Wincle Brewery, there will a barbecue, cream teas, kids games and sweets.
Sue Heaven, head of fundraising at the trust which supports adults with learning disabilities, said: “It will be brimming full of stalls and exciting things to do for everyone.
“It’s going to be bigger and better than ever. Come along and enjoy a great family day out”.
Rossendale’s Fete is great way to connect with the work the Trust does supporting adults with learning and some physical disabilities.
The funds raised help the tenants to participate in an ever-growing list of activities.
From supporting them to take part in an endeavour of lifetime, like the Great Manchester Run or buying sensory garden plants, every penny raised helps to improve the lives of all the tenants at Rossendale.
The fete takes place on Sunday, August 7, between midday and 4pm. To find out more about the trust or the fete call 01260 252500 or visit www.rossendaletrust. org.
