Academy to reach across globe

A HIGH school is to hold a spe­cial­ist youth con­fer­ence to be streamed around the world.

A Bri­tish Indie pop singer-song­writer, a Bri­tish ge­neti­cist and a bone col­lec­tor will be among the guest speak­ers at Fal­li­b­roome Academy, which will host the sixth TEDx Youth@Manch­ester con­fer­ence on Wed­nes­day, Novem­ber 16. The youth con­fer­ence will be broad­cast across the globe. Around 450 stu­dents and teach­ers from Fal­li­b­roome and other lo­cal schools will come to­gether for talks and per­for­mances re­flect­ing the theme of ‘Iden­tity’.

The TEDxYouth@ Manch­ester will take place on Wed­nes­day, Novem­ber 16, at the Fal­li­b­roome Academy, from 9am un­til 12.30pm.
