YOUNGSTER Sian Heslop continues to go from strength to strength in her running career after yet more success.

The 14-year-old only started running three years ago after coach Anna Carey from Macclesfield Harriers spotted her talent at a local school cross country race.

Her achievements have started to add up, having represented Cheshire and Macclesfield on many occasions she was also part of the North West team at the London mini marathon earlier this year.

She recently won the National road relays with her team mates Lauren Robinson and Stephanie Moss for Macclesfield Harriers, but her biggest achievement came last weekend when she won the junior great south run in Portsmouth.

She ran 2.5 km in just eight minutes and six seconds, beating the second placed running by 11 seconds.
