Macclesfield Express - - MACCLESFIELD PEOPLE - BRIAN MOORES

WE were delighted to be asked, once again, to provide the entertainment at the annual Macclesfield Cricket Club firework festival which was held at the club’s Victoria Road ground.

The event was supported by Chrome Motors of Macclesfield and our Blackers (Mark Blackman) did a fine job of keeping people informed of what was happening and played some great music.

We, once again, will be providing the PA when the people of Bollington remember the local people that have lost their lives serving their country.

The event takes place on Sunday, November 13.

There is also the annual Remembrance Day concert at Bollington Methodist Church at 7pm on the evening of the 13th. Details for both these events and other local services of remembrance are on our website.

Saturday, November 12, sees Essential Beauty on Palmerston Street in Bollington holding a charity chest waxing session to raise funds for Action for Sick Children.

It is rumoured that our very own Nick Wright and DJ Dippy will be having some hair removed. Pop in from 2pm onwards to support the event.
