Brownies delight in Best of British
GIRLGUIDING members from all over Macclesfield took part in activities to celebrate the ‘Best of British’ in a Last Night of the Proms inspired event.
The activities included a morris dancing lesson from Waters Green Morris, creative activities such as making lavender bags, decorating tea pot biscuits, and finished off
A DROP-IN play group for babies is held every Thursday at the Broken Cross Children’s Centre.
The free group meets at the Parkett Hayes Road centre from 1.30pm until 3pm.

Katy Hallatt, from the Macclesfield guides, said: “Girlguiding opens up a world of opportunities to girls and young women aged five to 25, offering a hugely varied programme incorporating everything from world issues and science to social action, adventure sports and more information.
CHILDREN’S Scottish Country Dancing classes are held in Langley every Saturday morning.
The classes run from 10am until 11.15am and cost £1.50 per session.
They take place on Main Road, Langley. For more information call international travel.
