Bridal designer hopes for crowning glory
A DESIGNER who produces glorious bridal accessories has reached the national finals of an industry awards.
Heidi Reid, who runs Glorious Tiaras, has been crowned regional winner of Wedding Accessory Designer of the Year at the Wedding Industry Awards.
Mum-of-two Heidi, who lives in Bollington and who won the same award last year, is hoping it’s second time lucky when she heads to London in January to compete in the national finals.
Heidi said: “I’m over the moon to have won this award for the second time.
“It’s one of the few awards that only accepts feedback from brides that you’ve provided a service for in the last year, and for me, knowing that it’s my bride’s personal experience of me and my work, that makes this such a special award.”
Heidi makes her accessories in her Makers’ Place studio at the Heritage Centre in Macclesfield.
The Wedding Industry Awards team then uses a combination of the average voter score and their own judging process to identify the regional shortlists and regional and national winners.
