Get quizzical to support cause
MACCLESFIELD residents are being urged to get in the festive spirit and raise money for research.
With just weeks to go until Christmas people are being invited to kick off the festivities early by holding a Quizmas Party to help support British Heart Foundation’s life saving research.
Gather together your friends, family and colleagues for a Christmas quiz to help raise vital funds in the fight against heart disease.
Take part at work, in your local pub or even at home.
The money raised will help fund research to help transform the lives of nearly 48,000 people living with heart and circulatory disease in Cheshire East.
British Heart Foundation receives no government funding and relies solely on the generosity of supporters.
Leah Goodhind, fundraising manager, said: “The festive season is almost upon us and if you’re looking for ways to get into the spirit of giving, we’ve got it all wrapped up.
“By holding a Quizmas Party you can help raise money for our life saving research and revolutionise the way we fight heart disease.
“Thousands of people in Cheshire East are fighting a daily battle with heart and circulatory disease, not just this Christmas time but all year round. With your help our life saving discoveries can help make a difference to everyone affected by these devastating conditions.”
