Appeal for return of missing chucks

Macclesfield Express - - THE LAUGHING BADGER -

A NINE year boy has launched a desperate search for his beloved pet chickens.

Pauline and Cluck Cluck went walkabout from their home in Poynton during a storm last week.

Their loss has devastated young Jamie Wallace who has been walking the streets looking for his feathered friends.

Jamie’s mum Rachel said the chickens escaped when winds blew down their enclosure.

She said: “We are appealing for people to keep their eyes and ears open to seek out Pauline and Cluck Cluck, our family’s two muchloved brown hens, who have escaped and looking to come home.

“They are tame, love their garden and are looking to find their route back - we hope. We don’t want to think the worst – like anyone with pets that become part of their family, this is a heart-wrenching time.

“Please help. My boy has lost his pride and joy - his chickens, they are his best pals.”

The family believe the chickens may be somewhere near Distaff Road or Chester Road.

If you spot the missing pets call or text Rachael on 07939 292820.
