Hospice launches tablet and mobile friendly site
EAST Cheshire Hospice has launched a new website to handle a big increase in demand for its online services.
Eastcheshirehospice. org.uk has been completely revamped with an attractive, bright and clean look, making it easier to use.
The hospice recognises that registration for events and making donations is, for some, more convenient via web access.
Hospice marketing manager Rachel Allcock said: “The old website had been in place for a number of years and needed to be refreshed in line with the new logo.
“The new website is designed to be much easier to use.
“All the information is there, but in a much simpler format so that you can quickly get to the page you need. You can easily donate money, enter our lottery or register for an event online.
“The main advantage is that it can accessed properly from a smart phone and tablet, as more people use websites this way.
“The way you see the website changes depending on the type of device it’s viewed from.
“The website has become increasingly important.
“For example, the vast majority of event participants now register online, and it’s an extremely useful way for people to find out hospice news and job vacancies.
“The new website will be updated each week.”
