PUPILS at Beech Hall School are learning business in a unique way thanks to new scheme.

The school, based in Tytherington, has introduced ‘Enterprise Tuesday’, which aims to teach fundamental and transferable business skills in real life situations.

Students will focus on a different theme each term, creating and selling products they designed themselves.

The students’ latest project earned a profit of £150, money which will go back into school resources.

Headteacher James Allen praised the students for their dedication to the project. He said: “They have done a fantastic job seeing the products through from beginning to end. Enterprise Tuesday is proving to be a very successful teaching method and the pupils are having a great time while learning”.
