WE would like to say thank you to ev­ery­one who sent their best wishes to Nick Wright and his side-kick DJ Dippy who were laid up with ‘man flu’ re­cently.

Thank­fully they are now fir­ing on all cylin­ders and you can hear them on 102.8FM ev­ery week­day morn­ing.

They are due to start their show at 8am but that very much de­pends what time Dippy wakes Nick up.

We also say thank you to our Black­ers, Mark Black­man, who kindly stepped in to the breach to cover for Nick and Dippy.

Also thanks to our Un­cle Brian, Brian Moores, for start­ing off the break­fast show on Wed­nes­day, Fe­bru­ary 1, when Mark was caught up in traf­fic.

Mark re­turned to his nor­mal show, Driv­e­time, on Mon­day, Fe­bru­ary 6. Lis­ten to him be­tween 2pm and 6pm.

We also have a new show to tell you about. Dean Frazer, aka as the Quan­tum Poet, is a guy who spent 15 years in Mac­cles­field be­fore mov­ing fur­ther north will be pre­sent­ing a poetry show be­gin­ning late Fe­bru­ary.

Dean puts his thoughts about Mac­cles­field in the olden and present days into prose and is sure to bring fond mem­o­ries to Max­o­ni­ans.
