A COLOURFUL band bring their fabulous sounds to town for a free gig.
Four piece folk grunge band ‘The Blue Yellows’ bring their unique take on indie music to The Swan With Two Necks on Friday, March 3.
The band have a musical stile with influences of rock, folk, grunge and world music, and hail from across Cheshire and Staffordshire,
They have been performing at festivals and music venues, as well as the BBC as part of the BBC Introducing team.
Jonathan Tarplee, lead singer, said: “We’ve had quite a break after Emma, our keyboard player has had her lovely little baby, Heidi. Now we’re all raring to go again. This will be our first time playing in Macclesfield and we’re really excited to be playing two full sets at such a cool venue.”

THE Martyn Donaldson Music Trust is organising a quiz night on Saturday, March 4. The event will be held at Bollington Arts Centre at 8pm.
There can be any number of people up to a maximum of six in a team, with a £50 cash prize to the winning team and other prizes on the night.
There is also a licensed bar.
Admission is by ticket only. Tickets cost £2.50 from 01625 433187. The Martyn Donaldson Music Trust is a Macclesfield charity set up to support the general education of disadvantaged young people in Africa.
THE children of Pott Shrigley will be sharing their talents with an audience on Friday (February 17). The Pott’s Got Talent show will begin at 2pm and everyone is invited to attend. Tea and coffee will be available after the show at Pott Shrigley CE Primary.
