LAST week vinous matters were dominated by trade tastings in Manchester and I managed to get along to two of them.
You’ll find bottles from London’s Liberty Wines and Stockport’s Boutinot Wines at restaurants and merchants across Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
Both companies have some great wines at very accessible prices, and they are not, in any strict sense, fine wine dealers.
They both source terrific wines from around the world and work with producers to achieve the best quality. Boutinot manages its own vineyards in France, Italy and South Africa to great effect.
