A HIS­TOR­I­CAL so­ci­ety will en­joy a talk on stand­ing stones found in the Stafford­shire Moor­lands.

The Moor­lands may not have any struc­tures as awe­some as Stone­henge, but it does have many pre­his­toric stand­ing stones from that pe­riod of an­cient his­tory. Ge­off Browne, who has been study­ing the sub­ject for 40 years, will be pre­sent­ing a talk to Swytham­ley His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety on Thurs­day, March 30.

The talk, at Swytham­ley and Heaton Cen­tre, will be­gin at 7.30pm.
