GOOD RESULT

A PRIMARY school has been given a clean bill of health after an inspection.

Ofsted visited Whirley primary at Broken Cross last month and found it was still a ‘good’ school.

Inspector Sally Kenyon found plenty of positives, including how well challenged pupils of middle ability and the most able were, the support for those less able and overall attendance.

The school was asked to improve before and after school club provision and the teaching of phonics in early years.
