YOUTH IN COURT
A YOUTH will face a trial after being accused of holding up a corner shop at knifepoint.
The 15-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded not guilty to robbery at Queens Avenue Convenience Store, in Hurdsfield on January 24.
At the hearing at Stockport Magistrates court, he also pleaded not guilty to possessing a knife in a public place.
He will face a trial for the charges at Stockport magistrates on Friday, July 7.
