Poor away form for Kerridge

Macclesfield Express - - TRAVEL - ADAM BANKS

AFTER winning last week Kerridge travelled over to Frodsham and any hopes of making it two on the bounce were shattered as they suffered a six wicket defeat. After a brief downpour Frodsham elected to field first. AIDED by some poor shots and an equally as bad wicket Kerridge found any fluency with the bat and lost wickets at regular intervals. Josh Capper, John Grayston and Carl Ryder were the only 3 players to achieve double figures.

Greg Pidgeon returned healthy figures of 8/24 for Frodsham as they bowled Kerridge out for just 64.

It did not take long for such a small total to be chased down but at least Kerridge picked up a couple of bowling points by taking four wickets, Banks with 2 and 1 apiece for Ryder and Grimes. The poor away form continues.

This Saturday sees Kerridge play Bowdon Vale at Clarke Lane with both sides having suffered defeat should make for an exciting game
